An abandoned house in 34th Avenue welcomes all who pass it with a ‘FOR SALE’ sign. The sign is huge, no one can miss it: black cardboard in mint condition with fresh white latex paint. The house has been for sale for nineteen years now. It is a lovely bungalow that no one would assume to be abanded except that it is the only one remaining life in the Providential Ghost Town. Few people go still to this decaying residential complex, but, regardless, all of them fall in love with the bungalow with the ‘FOR SALE’ sign. All of them enter, bewitched; always one after the other.
Inside the house are sparkling Christmas décors, always updated to the year’s trends.
Everyone wants to buy the house, yet no one knows who sells it or who maintains the sign in condition and the décors clean and trendy. Everyone ends up buying one of the other abandoned houses in the ghost town instead, hoping to model it after the House where the Poinsettia reside.
