It’s easy to get carried away with all these “writing tips” especially when you start getting serious. You start out writing because you love the process and then the next thing you know, you’re trying to strictly follow a standard that they said you should do. And after that?

“Oh, I write, yeah, but it’s just… writer’s block and I need to get into the zone and [all that jazz].”

All other creative endeavors apply.

Now let’s try to think of when someone had “not felt like talking” and actually stopped talking… until they felt like it…
